Mark Bennett Gardening Rescue

Welcome to Gardening Rescue — your go-to place for simple, practical plant help.

If you’ve ever wondered why your plant’s leaves are turning yellow, how to revive a droopy vine, or whether you can save a root-rotted houseplant… you’re in the right place. My goal is to make plant care less confusing, less overwhelming, and a lot more enjoyable.

🌱 Who I Am

Hi, I’m Mark, an experienced, qualified botanist and landscape gardener, and I’m the creator of Gardening Rescue. I’ve spent years growing houseplants, troubleshooting plant problems, and sharing what I’ve learned with other plant lovers. I have my keen assistant Libby the Labrador with me in the house and garden at all times!

This site was created to be a friendly, straightforward resource; the kind of place I wish existed when I was first trying to keep my plants alive.
No jargon. No fluff. Just clear, actionable advice.

🌼 Why I Started This Website

Like many plant lovers, I started with a few houseplants and made every beginner mistake along the way. Over time, I learned how to revive plants, prevent problems, and help them thrive.

I created Gardening Rescue to share what I’ve learned, help you avoid common frustrations, and make plant care stress-free.
